Default looking at v4 sti what to look for??

Hi all, im going to look at a version 4 sti in the morning, is there anything special i need to look for?? other than the normal things????? thanks for anyhelp.

I would concentrate on the normal things especially if it hasnt a great deal of history as all v4 are imports.

Servicing, Cam belt, Tyres, breaks, bodywork, electrics are all worth a close look at. Ask about the DCCD amkes sure alls ok with it.

Version 4 should have the later nicer dash too...

Check for piston slap on cold start, it should go away once the car is warmed up. If the sound is still there once warm walk away!

ok thanks, i dont think this one has dccd, is this normal?? yes it has the later dash, its done 75000 miles and lots of uk history, ive been looking for a black one for a while so fingers crossed !!!

Black is a very nice colour to own m8 (I own a black STI v3)

Dont think they have they the DCCD unless they're the RA version but I may be wrong.

Well ive got it !!! just drove it back 200 miles didn't miss a beat, very happy!!! so much different to the uk turbo i had

only the ra and type r have dccd.
