Orville
forgive me for asking the obvious here but have you asked the dealership who they sold it to, it is unlikely it got sent to auction and they may have a record of it?

Good luck!

Guess the bird-pulling capabilities of the Beetle didn't compensate for the stump-pulling power of the turbo?

Never mind, hope to see you back "in the fold" soon!

That was probably washer fluid, but I do hear people in Essex sometimes use it for perfume/aftershave. I use Brut 33 myself .

Orville - surely you mean channel no.5 if you've been driving a beetle around!

what was it that first attracted you to the beetle , was it the little vase with the flower in it?

The deal I have with my girlfriend is that we swap cars every year. One year she chooses and the next year I choose. We're having our first baby in 2 to 3 months so we now need a practical 4 door saloon. Yuo can only just about fit a styling comb and a hairdryer in the boot of a beetle, so a baby buggy is out of the question. I've narrowed the list of cars down to 3.
1. New MY01
2. Nearly new Evo 6.
3. Nearly new MY99/00.
Number 3 is the most probable and cheapest option.
