Default WHICH EXHAUST

hey, am i rite in saying my 99 uk turbo has two cats, one on the downpipe and one in the centre section......
can i remove one and stay road legal and which one would be best to remove,
or would a sports cat be the best option....???

Down pipe is the main one and you "might" pass the mot with just the centre, but not for sure!!!

Most people remove the downpipe and centre cats. Then for MOT replace the centre cat and have no probs with MOT.

Only 2 cats in a MY99

Cat in uppipe was for MY01 WRX onwards.

That's on newage cars, no classics.

2 cats as standard.

Removed both cats on my '01 Bugeye, gets through the mot no problem
