Iv been reading a mag which says to stage 2 an evo engine the main part is the ECU remap along with fitting a new walbro fuel pump and some Iridium Spark Plugs.

Is the engine stage 2 for a classic impreza pretty much the same?? any advice on good parts to buy or places to go is of course welcome. Iv heard power engineering is a good place to go for a remap which is in southampton?

 

i have never figured out this tuning 'stages' as there called lol

decat, pannel filter and a remap (fuel pump if its an sti as well) is the best starting point, unless you wanna go further

 

Generally speaking there aren't really well recognised "stages" for Impreza tuning. Andy Forrest has some useful "levels" of tune on his site per below:
