all do except the hawkeye STi wheels

think the classic uses a different size tyre to the newage models?

Yes hawkeye sti use 114 pcd........ newage/hawkeye wrx use 100pcd same as the classics

part two of this question....

these WRX wheels with 215/45x17 tyres, will these work fine on the classic also, no rubbing etc?

On some cars they seem to fit fine, on others they may rub slightly on the rear, it depends really on what supsension set-up you have, how much weight the car carries, and how hard you go round corners......

all standard setup

weight can vary between me , and 4 people. I don't tend to drive hard.

should i be concerned...i kinda am now...is rubbing a problem?

My Wagon rubs on the inside of the arches when I hook up my Folding Camper.

sirp, if all standard i would go for it, if it rubs at-all it-ll be very minor on the outside edge, if it does, there should be a rubber strip on the arch lip, most people get away with just removing that!

Wheels fine tyres not ideal - least they wont when i did the same thing

kind of sets the car to far off the ground

cheers for all the advice, got the wheels on, and they appear fine

what is a good tyre pressure on these wheels/tyres? (WRX 05 wheels with 215/45x17 tyres)

Really? You must weigh a metric ton then, Bluto. I've had me, three mates and a load of camping gear and surfboards with no rubbing. I've had the back seats down on a booze run to Calais with the car stocked to the roof with beer, wine and spirits and it coped better than anything I've ever driven (including a Mondeo wagon on a similar booze cruise) - still handled great. Only thing that slowed me down was the sickening 'clink clink' from the precious cargo as I cornered! These are surprisingly good load luggers, I've found.
