Default Best oil for jdm classic????

Having oil and filter change tomorrow and i was just wondering what the best oil is to put in my classic 93 wrx?

Plus is there a massive difference between brands of oils?

Until i had a turbo car i never put much thought into oil

Any thoughts would be appreciated..........................

I run a modified 93wrx (306bhp) and had the engine rebuilt last year by a well known specialist, they advised me to use 15-40 or 15-50, i have the latter in the form of Mobile 1 fully synthetic. If its a standard engine subaru recommend 10-40 semi/fully synthetic. As long as you get a tidy brand such as Mobile, Comma, Valvoline etc you should be fine.
