Spot on!
Especially if you match the end time with 'pub closing time'.

Why on earth would you want to pay 25K or even the 18K for a 10 year old Jap car?

Firstly the interior will be ugly as hell & out dated.
Probably also be full of the 20+ dials the previous 3 owners have had fitted.

Seriously though.

Plus a new age car is going to be quicker, more refined, much more pleasant inside.

Cheaper to insure and run

I'd really be inclined to double check you're information.

Spec C and variants for example

Yeah, only once though.
It was a jap version too, not UK.

Yes it was quick - but so it should have been because that was in 2000.

OK, so you're saying you'd prefer the old knackered 22b?

Personally I'd be going for the new age car, with its refinements and substancially more advanced technology.

I currently have an MY05 STI.

I would prefer the 22b over the MY05.
Stick your refinements where the sun don't shine

22B would be my choice too, it is THE classic impreza that most of the Rally fans would want, and in my opinion, the only one that is likely to hold or increase its value in the future.......may not be the fastest any more but is the most desirable. The new age cars will never be worth the same money as a 22B at the same age.
