Dont bother with a front mount. Instead use an STi8 topmount.
As for the turbo, the vf28 is ggood for 330bhp anyway so unless your going over that I would stick with it.

personally i'd never go back to a top mount after havinga front mount, although the sti top mount will be cheaper than a front mount

oil cooler is a very very good idea by the way, got one on mine and its made a huge difference

definatly need a remap after a fmic
The sti8 tmic is rated at 400bhp and since the pipe work is short you will not have much or any lag that you would get with a fmic.
Also the tmic is easier to fit and cheaper

thers little to no lag once mapped up properly on a front mount

and as for good for 400bhp, try it on the dyno on a cold day then a hot day and see what happens to your figures, there gonna be way down.

When a car is on the rollers its not gonna get as much air to it anyway. Obviously when the car is not moving the tmic will suffer from heatsoak but when its moving its way more efficiant than a fmic
As far as I know Andy Forrest is using a top mount on his car ( could be wrong though )

The thing people forget to do when fitting the sti8 tmic is that to get the most out of it you need to fit the sti7/8 bonnet scoop

bigger bonnet scoop does help, and yep yu don't get such good airflow on the dyno, but it just highlights the problem, not cause it.

Tis very interesting mate, Found it funny that the expensive aftermarket job made less power than the original.
