Do you want to see better, or be seen?

See better

Options are: Join the HID group buy, around £110
Buy some Philips 80% uprated bulbs off the internet, from £20 the pair.
Buy some Halfords ones in the Gold coloured boxes, 50% uprated, on BOGOF, they are also made by GE, so are like Megalights which are excellent. From £12 to £17 a pair, depending on bulb type.

Be seen

Join the HID group buy.
Buy some blue tinted bulbs, many to choose from, all give crap light.

Philips +30% Xtreme Main Bulbs
Philips +50% Vision Plus Dipped Bulbs.

Car Bulbs from Power Bulbs - upgrade xenon car bulbs, headlight bulbs, autobulbs and autolamps from Philips, Osram and Narva. Philips X-Treme Power, Osram NightBreaker, Osram Silverstar and more.

Both made a MASSIVE! difference. I've now got the 100w rallye bulbs for main, but they do not shine as far, just brighter, closer.

Was a thread recently in General about uprated bulbs, might be worth a read.

Previous owner had blue tinted bulbs, when I took headlights out the other day used some Philips +50% Vision Plus Xenon Bulbs.
