Hi all,

As some of you may have read on a previous post, my WRX wagon had an incident with a concrete block which did rather a lot of damage. Looking at it in the day time it was a lot worse than I thought with knackered suspension and a bent frame.

A sad day for me as I realized the £2500 car I had bought was now destined for Scooby heaven.

Picking up the replacement tonight though, an electric blue Prodrive Ltd edition UK turbo. It's the car I always wanted and now I have!!!

Sure it's not as powerful as the WRX but, given time it will be!!!

Paperwork all says UK turbo and looking at all the usual bits like the sun visor and under the passenger footwell (where they put that flare in Jap imports) it is all very much english instead of the Japanese that is in the WRX!!

So I may have picked up a v-limited then? Awesome if that's the case. How else can I tell that?

What is the model code of a v-limited?

Will grab that tonight then. Reistered on the DVLA as a UK Turbo though so perhaps you're right..badge added but I don't mind really, it's such a nice car!!!! I love it!

Thanks Black V5. i thought it was UK spec...silly things like the indicator stalk on the left and not the right and all info in english etc...

So the badge has probably been added on then I guess?

got them seats 2...quite rare..

there is an even rarer set that have grey swade in the middle..

seen a few p1s with them..

do you have a blue intercooler pipe joby?

Nope, intercooler piping is standard black. Cool to hear that the seats are rare though. Looking forward to picking up the car later on and taking her for a spin!!

Just got the new insurance quote and wow, what a difference having a UK spec over a Jap spec makes!! Didn't realize it would make such a drop in price!! That can only be a good thing!!

Now to save up ready for the inevitable bits to come next!! STI Rear lights here we come!!

imports have the indicators/wipers reversed over uk cars too.

i noticed this when i went from my wrx to my uk turbo and kept switching on my wipers to make a left/right turn
