I suppose it all boils down to preference then really.

You will be in excellent hands with Jolly, as he has done wonders with a friends car.

Went out with JGM when he mapped a mate's 94wrx (we met him at some services near where JGM resides), it was done very safely i don't think any speed limits were broken (normally a point people will bring up when mapping on the road).

Both as far as i know will map for what you want rather then going to the extreme limit

Worth a read perhaps https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...tml?showfull=1

JGM did mine on the road, well impressed, good read that myblackwrx has posted. I personally think it is more realistic on the road but thats a whole different can of worms.

jGM will always answer your questions as well

for me personally when you see they have raise tyre pressures on the r/r and perhaps the airflow isn't what you get on the road you won't get the realistic figures as you said though ,can of worms.

jgm all the way he mapped mine on the road last year and the results are excellent, very thourough in his work and able to answer any questions you throw at him.
personally i would prefer it done on the road as air flow charecteristics are different opposed to a fan at a rolling road.
but each to there own.
as said you could get jgm to map it and still done on rolling road there is a previous thread where he done one at surrey rolling road.

You can map a car on the road just be prepared to give your brakes a hard time as you have to load the engine up.

A friend did my 309 on the road as a favour and tbh i prefered it to the rr as he was able to play with the cold start map by quite a bit and get her driving sensibly on the road, something id imagine would be tricky to sort on the rr.

If you're not going to do something about the OE downpipe cat, i wouldn't bother remapping a PPP wrx. You're not going to actually gain a great deal as prodrive have done a good job in the first place. You'll get a much better drive and more power with a decat or sports cat to go with the rest of the exhaust.
