A question for the convertible footwear wearers in our parish. Do you have Clarks hush puppy type shoes as a hard top option in your wardrobes as a winter option?

Many moons ago i went to a catholic shcool, so im well versed to preachy, sandle wearing, know it all's- (EVERY teacher wore sandles)

Grey jumpers that are far too small, b.o, noel edmonds style tidy-beards, and ankle swinging drainpipe trousers were also all the rage with these types too.

Just realised! The reason over 70mph is sooo bad to them is because the ultra small jumpers n trousers means they havent got proper car control... (explains the slating of all things RWD too)

Its probably all my teachers on here now, they didnt listen to me then, and treated me like im the devil, and i seem to be public ememy no1 on here too (you could be a close second tho scoobynutter ).

Actually im sure its them on here- say "what u gonna do, put me on the cross?"- and theyd usually just go purple, foam at the mouth, and scream "BLASPHEMY!!!!", now u just have to mention speeding, or cosworths, to get the same effect...

Maybe i should go to the next local scooby meet- "Hi Mr Walsh, still an R.E. teacher? hows your 22B that never goes over 70mph? Hope theres enough boot space for all the bibles, unleavened bread, stick on moses beards, and the DIY crucifiction kit"

I can see the faces getting purple and the flames throwers being lit, time to pull on the asbestos undies...

Ah now all becomes clear, your the current attitude is the result of a repressive secular education.

Explains why you feel the need place blame to shout at people when they fail to agree with your interpretation of reasonable behaviour.

Astraboy has been around for a while and undoubtedly has the capacity to be controversial. Unfortunately you have yet to devlop that atribute and your skills seem restricted to simple confrontation.

Must dash I seem to have mislaid my mid life crisis.

Question

Repressive Secular Education? 2b honest the kids pretty much ran the school, and about the only catholics there were the teachers, so u couldnt be more wrong.

I dont mind people not agreeing with me at all, im fine with people having their own opinions (i have lots!), i just dont like people trying to tell me how to lead my life, taking me completley the wrong way, or laying down the law about things they know nothing about (cosworths, generally).

Just a little out of training to compete face to face. With your razor sharp wit I'd feel more at ease with an equaliser.

Banshi,
i have located a batch! Beige sandals crafted by hand from Tibetan monks. None of this new fangled velcro either, just the "authentic" sandal model as worn thousands of years ago.

Ive done a deal where you get a bumper sticker with each pair, "if you can read this youre too close!!!!!!!!!!!"
