Hi Harvey,

As of Wednesday evening, nothing has arrived yet.

I confirmed with Ice Maiden all my details last Thursday, so giving her the benefit of the doubt and the state of the GPO's 2nd Class mail, I should be receiving the cheque in the next day or so.

I will keep the Scoobynet community informed of the cheque arrival and clearance.

It's important this is kept public.

 

Having said publicly that she is sending a cheque we have to give her the benefit of the doubt for a day or two more. Lets hope it gets put to bed properly now.

If you have not received a cheque by now you have been lied to again.

I contacted Martin earlier today and here is what he had to say.
The delay has been waiting for his permission to post his reply to me.

 

I have to say im shocked especially after the garage stuck up for her (stuck their neck out more like actually) is she still coming on here?

Think she has other problems from what i read.......... no excuse though i know.

 

Having problems is one thing but this person already told many lies like........... It was in the post............Like she would supply the tracking number.................Like she explained how honest she was..........like she said a couple of weeks ago she would get it sorted, pleaded all sorts, clearly had a bad attitude and got the webmaster to lock the thread. ...........Like from the e-mail she sent above, Martin has someone stay at home to receive her payment.

At the beginning of all this I seem to remeber she was selling this phone to more than one person.

I think we know enough and if this thread is locked it just shows how Scoobynet are not interested in protecting their members best interests. The Webmaster loocked the last thread but that shoid not have been done until the cheque was sent and cleared the bank.

What a disgusting situation to have scammers in outmidst.

have you read what the webby has written on that thread? you have to remember its is a woman, and a lot of blokes were saying about going to "get" her. he locked it to hopefully stop that, not to stop martin getting his money back.

we all want him to get his cash back, webby just dosent want it to escalate into something else.

As it happens yes..........

 

I thought IceMaiden would have done the honourable thing and coughed up the dosh.

Whether she's having a difficult time or not is irrelevant. Ripping off someone is totally unacceptable. If she was short of cash then maybe a night on a street corner would have brought in sufficient cash for this situation to have been avoided.


She deserves what's coming to her.

It is a pity she is still a member of Scoobynet Tony or there is not some form of censure for this type of behaviour.

 

It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. People willing to rip off fellow members is quite deplorable.
