With all the trouble that seems to be going on at the minute with people being scammed or ripped off i think that a good idea would be to put a Sticky in the Sales secton so that when peole have had a successful sale go through you can then post in there to let people know. But have an offical list or something which only th mods can update.
I personally would like to see this as i often look the sales section and would normally not think twice about buying something of a fellow member but of late, i'm starting to think twice.

What does everone think ?

Or just use commone sense? Only pay for small stuff by Paypal/cheque (money you can afford to lose I guess) & for all else visit members home & pay once seen?

I'm not being funny though i carn't afford to lose any money. If you go into a sale thinking "can i afford to lose the money and not get what i've pad for" then to be honest i don't think i'll buy anything off here.
You shouldn't have to think like that.

Just don't take the risk then. I tend to always try to buy the bits that are local and meet up somewhere to exchange money/goods. If it isn't as I expected I'd give the guy a tenner or something for the inconvenience. Seems fair to me.

By small stuff I meant £10-20.

A chap off here bought my original STi V gold alloys years ago. Travelled a fair distance to pick them up in person. Only way to reduce risk of rip of really. Agree that it's a shame though

There is a trusted sellers section on the civic sports club as this sort of thing was going on too. I think its quite a good idea, but when it comes to the 'trusted sellers' thread reaching 10+ p=ages long I very much doubt people are gonna bother sifting through that lot just to see if a particular seller is in there with a good rating.

A mod or spmeone with access could compile a list of the names, maybe even, only a mod can post names in the Trusted seller section after the sale has gone through.
