Default How much is it worth

Hi folks im new here and looking for a bit od advice.

I have been offered a 1996 n import wrx sti v ltd with 58000m on the clock.
I know its subject to condition ,but what would be a fair price to pay for it.
it has just been imported but has been reg etc.

bump--anyone -the dealer wants £4400-is this fair as i dont want to get ripped off and thats a lot of dosh for an n plate motor.

if its just been imported it should have already had an SVA test inc. foglamp + mph conversion, I'd suggest a cambelt change (unless there is proof of it recently done) and it should be remapped for UK fuel in my opinion.

£4,400.00 is OK money for an imported version 2 car. but look around and don't let your heart rule your head. Version 3 STi RA's sell for less that £4k if you wait long enough. And STi version 5's ca be bought for around 5k.

Check on Pistonheads for comparable cars. some STi version 2 cars are around £3,500 - £4,000 at the min (mileages / condition excepted)

£4,000

I may be missing something .... but, you can get a 1999 or 2000 proper UK car for that kind of money (or very close!) and a wagon to boot!
