I can beat that - not long after getting my car I bought some fancy locking valve caps for the wheels - little metal ones with the subaru logo on the top. One night two middle aged men ( woman across the road saw them doing it ) stole them. They must have used pliers to get them off as they ripped out one of the valves and left some gouges in the wheel paint around the valves.

And what were these caps worth you ask ? grand total of £3.50 plus p&p off Ebay !

same happened top me, plus mirror and side skirts. did ploice even bother to turn up to look, nope, just gave me a crime number, bunch of wasters.
