So come on girls, what's the big fascination with shopping?
I have a nice functional attitude to shopping, namely going into the shop and buying what I need. It achieves everything I want - I get the goods required, it doesn't waste lots of time, and I don't spend more than I need. The technique is ultra reliable and readily accepted by society as neither naff or snobby. A good all round sensible method IMHO.
As for my girlfriend, well there's a story. She's got a Visa card and is TOTALLY OBSESSED with it. Don't get me wrong, she doesn't deprive me of anything, but she does spend a lot of time and money shopping. New shoes, new outfits, loud and lary tops, silly hats, super bright ear-rings, gold bracelets, etc. Where will it all end?
I know many men class themselves as chocolate widows, but she doesn't even like chocolate. All I hear about is shopping and all her friends from the women's rotary club who she meets at all these 'shopping sprees for no real reason apart from blowing £60.00 on things you don't need' or even worse 'Sales'.
I am a true Shopping Widower, but am I alone or are all women as bad? Perhaps we could have our own forum as I am sure there must be thousands of us.
Bitt...erm I mean Shopping Widower

Hello Bitt...erm I mean shopping widower
No, rest assured us girls are not all like that, although I must say I have been known to give the old credit card a bashing but mainly on mods to the scoob or other scooby related stuff.
I did however spend rather a lot this week on the Prodrive stand at the Autosport show - a SWRT watch for him, his & hers SWRT mugs & key rings etc etc, oh and not to mention the Bel Euro 550 for the scoob...
There was also the time I paid for the Wax Wizard to come and give the scoob the full treatment for the day and of course there's the forthcoming trip to the Rally Catalunya in the scoob - well it's not cheap you know...

Maybe all us shopping widowers could have a meet! You know, no wives / girlfriends.
We could all drive to the venue in our cars...

Don't worry. I am quite used to this sort of humour. I am afterall a Scooby Widow.
But remember, ALL women like shopping (and quite a lot of blokes). However, Scooby worshipping is a kin to trainspotting
