It sounds as if it is used to intercept the MAF sensor to adjust the air/fuel ratio:

told u what it was hours ago.............................
benefits (if u can work out how to wire it in)-
Its to adjust the air/fuel ratio to compensate for things that may make the car require more fuel- ie more boost, exhaust, filter, basically any power mod.
If u do any mods without changing the air/fuel ratio than u wasting power at least, damaging the engine by running lean at worst.
Its a bloody handy thing u got there n id get it plugged in soon as poss.

But sorry, this a/f ratio controler is no good to me, ive got silly expensive pectel managment that already has that kind of bells n whistles.
I cant belive nobody else wants it tho- that, a boost controller, and an ignition conroller, and your well away.
