Has anybody signed up on there?

I started speaking with a P1 owner last night, and he mentioned the P1 WOC
So i decided to sign up, looking through general chat, and noticed a post saying that the P1 was the fastest accelerating Impreza 0-60
Which i replyed with
"Thats wrong, the Type-RA is fastest and then the Type-R"
I went to sign in this morning to see the debate, and i couldnt log in, i had been banned!
I signed up again, and noticed my post had been deleted too.

 

Surprised at that, you sure the thread hadn't been moved?

I belonged to that when I had my P1 a couple of years ago and it was a great site with very knowledgeable people and it was also very friendly.

Don't know the facts for the Type RA/R but the P1 was 0-60 in 4.6 but I'm sure someone will post it up on here

 

4.3 for the typeR version 4 as tested by autocar i think

they can be a bit touchy about their cars them P1 lot

I am site admin from P1WOC and no one has been banned for a comment like that I can promise you. In fact the number of banned users is very very small. Please let me know your username and I will investigate the issue for you.

@ Dirtyscooby, i didnt make a new thread, i just replyed in 1 that was already there.

@ P1 dave, hi, i have already PM'd an Admin, asking why i had been banned.
But i had to sign up with a new account first.

If you could look into it for me, it would be most appreciated.

Maybe i wasn't banned and there was a genuine problem its just that my post disapeared from the thread and my account stopped working at same time.

It would appear somthing odd is going on, I doubt anyone would have deleted your post if you posted what you say you have... I dont know who you pm'ed but some Admin dont come on the site that much. If you pm me or just reply here with your original username then I will see what I can do for you.

Hi Dave, i have just been to sign on, and it seems the problem has been rectified, however, the post is still missing (User name Doddy)
I pm'd rob btw, he was the first person to sign up, so i guessed he was Admin.

 

p1woc is a very friendly place to be ! and as said there must be a reason for this.

Rob owns the site but doesnt get on there as much

 

The only reason i can think it happened, is because it was my first and only post on there, which corrected somebody, who obviously is a regular, or poss a Moderator.
But what i said was right, the P1 isnt the fastest impreza 0-60 (Classic shape)
its the Type-RA (4.1) and then the Type-R (4.3)

i used to frequent p1woc when i had a p1 great website,must have been a mistake.
dont forget wr1 was "quoted" as 0-60 4.25!

As P1 dave says, I am certain that none of the moderators (including myself) would not have deleted anything like this.

Yes there are some owners that could be considered to be slightly misty eyed concerning the car (surely you would expect a reaction to that comment wether it's true or not? ) but as long as it's a healthy debate and does not get nasty it won't be touched.
