With my move up north (training it to London) I'm hardly using the WRX and though someone else could benefit from the pleasure.

2005 WRX, 225bhp, tracker, 32,000 miles.

I was offered 10k on a trade-in as the best offer, by a VAG dealer.

The wife thinks i could get 12k privately.

Please no pesimestic its worth scrap replies; trade book value is £9300-9800, retail up to £14k. Scoobys are no worse than most including BMWs.

Trade value v retail is huge.

Anybody any views on the car's value..?

I am just wondering if the WRX will depreciate heavily as the miles increase over the next few years, should I take the 10k against a Vag desiel putt-putt luxury car.
