Default Concorde Noise Exhausts

Does anybody no what exhausts these are on scoobys, rather than burple they seem to screech like a concorde / fighter jet taking off. Quite a few Scoobs had these fitted back in the old days at Brighouse.

Were these Blitz ?

sounds like the full PPP system if you are talking about a classic!!

I was suprised the first time I heard a PPPd classic on hard acceleration, it screamed rather than burbled.

Ah Brighouse heady days The noise you are referring to was particular to one black V3 sti if I'm not mistaken, belonging to a friend of mine. He got that noise as a result of using a bung in his exhaust, cannot remember what exhaust he had though. Without the bung it was probably the deepest and loudest exhaust I had ever heard on an Impreza.

Like you thought, it sounds like the Blitz Nur-spec ,which comes with a removable bung. Its probably the loudest exhaust you can put on a scoob.

That would have been Micky with his reddish blue UK classic with full Blitz Nurspec R (which I replicated a few years later on my own reddish blue classic doh!) and he probably had me in the passenger seat while we were racing with Joe who went up with us from Rotherham, he had the white WRX with a full HKS system on. God those old crappy 323 4x4 Turbo's were fast! Those were the days!
