Sounds very impressive and alot better write up on it than i have seen preveously.

But at the end of the day, we all buy our cars on how the drive and perform. Yes looks do count, but driver comfort is allways a must for myself.

It's a better STi than before, and that makes it one of the world's great performance cars, end of story.
Which is all that matters.

So can you lot in your early 90's Toyota Corolla lookalikes stop whining you miserable b*tches.

Looks like there is now a much bigger difference between the wrx and Sti models compared to bug, blob and hawkeye newages. I wouldn't even consider a hatch wrx but would certainly have one of these Sti's funds permitting - preferably the JDM 2 litre.

As said JDM has 4-2-1 equal lenth headers on a 2.0ltr and EU/UK has Cast headers on a 2.5Ltr

It may be true but the WRX with 18"'s lowering springs and a remap will be not bad as this new engine is more tunable

Shame the UK again is a 7Krpm limit rather than 8krpm

IMHO

Yeah, but we get the 2.5ltr so don't need to rev as high anyway.

"Besides, we're all used to ugly Subaru Imprezas, ever since the goggle-eyed squinter that was the second generation car shocked the hell out of us six years ago"

Could have a point there, but at least the Bugeye didn't look like just about every other hatchback on the road.

I still don't like then..
