I've just fitted the PIAA ones.
I got them from the US because they're half the price there.
They work very well at wiping but I'm yet to see the effects of the silicone residue - how long should I have to wait, anyone?

I have used everything - from BOSCH, Halfords and Poundshop/Tesco rubbish - and, without doubt, the best blades I have used (so much so that I keep a stock in the garage) are these, at £2:99 for a PAIR!!!!
Lidl Online
They are really fantastic all round - and at that price you can afford to replace every winter!!

Bosch aero were excellent on another car and had a set on the Scoob. They juddered badly at the end of each sweep. Thought about replacing them with PIAA but was shocked by the price, so bought another set of Bosch. They also judder. Right PITA, so am now going to splash out on PIAAs.
BTW, ours is a MY05 -- anyone else had this problem?

I have got PIAA but will try Aero next. THe PIAA have a habit of smearing or giving the appearance of smearing on the screen. You get used to it but its a pain. The way they work though is awesome at speed. You can safely drive with them off and the rain just disappears from the screen, superb. Oh, and my PIAA ones judder at the end of the stroke.
Will still try Aero next though. LOL

gives the same effect as having Rain X on the screen
I bought some piaa's for both mine and my Dad's car a couple of years back and was a bit suss about the pouch, so i only applied it to my car and not my Dads. Well guess what - my window beaded off the rain nicely but we are still waiting for my Dad's to do the same. Wipers which coat the surface of the glass in silicon my ****

So, the LIDLS £2:99 wipers I use and replace annually, are damned excellent value.
These PIAA's last 5 years which is good - but £35, that's bad! My LIDLS choice would last 11 1/2 years if looked at on cost alone!
I cannot get over £35 .................
