Default P1 on ebay

You'll have to excuse me if I'm being stupid here.....but......I was under the impression that the last year they made the classic shape inmpreza was 2001, and that was on an x plate, yes? Therefore, this is impossible??......

Find 2001 SUBARU IMPREZA P1 BLUE on eBay within, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 04-Nov-07 19:00:00 GMT)

Did they carry on making the P1 after stopping all the rest of the classics? Never ever seen a classic on a 51 plate before, It just doesn't seem right!

The last of the classics hung around a little due to the impending release of the newage (although not many had seen what it would look like)

I've seen a few UK turbos on 51 plates. A few P1s hung around too hence the late plate on this one.

I actually quite fancy this one

Well he says its from CVC in Cardiff so it probably did sit about but the dealer chose not to buy it (as some do to massage figures)

Up the road is Keith Price Subaru and they had a met red classic wagon on a 51 when my car was serviced there.

simonds1 - where you going for your servicing in Pembs mate? I used to use AWP in Narbeth. Would probably keep using them once I get a P1.

There is a place in Narberth?!?!? Never heard of AWP? Where abouts are they? Are they Subaru specialists or anything? I go all the way to Cardigan to the Subaru dealer there. Bit of a pain in the **** but I just wanna do it properly!

Our P1 was a 51 plate...literally, as I was handing over a big wad of cash to the dealer, planes were being flown into the Twin Towers. Was on the TV in the showroom. Put a bit of a downer on the day

There were (relatively) a lot of Classic Turbos (mostly 'Wagons in Mica Red) and P1s registered on a '51'. The red estates were unpopular and the second set of P1s were over-priced (and over-specced by greedy dealers).

My P1 on a Y reg was £2.5k off the list price, not so overpriced compared to the earlier reg'd P1s.

I had a 51 plate P1, it was quite common that things over ran the plate you expected them to be on because they had to use up the last of the old style plates, there were two changes a year so in effect 3 different prefix's .

Sept 00 X

March 01 Y

Sept 01 51

Have seen a few classics on 51 plates - there were probably quite a few unreg'd ones that hadnt sold considering how expensive Imprezas were at the time.

I think that P1 used to belong to a bloke who lived round the corner from me - could be he sold it to CVC as he has a Seat now, and the P1 dissapeared from his drive around last Xmas time.

If it is, its a very nice clean car.

Yes, AWP. They prep cars for rally mostly but will service Imprezas. Only Imprezas though, I asked them to look after a Lancia Delta EVO and the reply was "buy another Impreza"

Don't!! I really shouldn't and I haven't got the money but the temptation is pretty unbearable. Just sneak a little loan to top my funds up

Must resist!
