Default My car smells awful.

After visiting a car wash a couple of weeks agao I left a bucket with a wash sponge and chamois in my car.
As I don't use it very often, I forgot it was there until yesterday.
On opening the car it smelt like an old folks home. You know, old and musty/damp. I left the windows open all last night and have had a blast today with the windows down but it still smells nasty
Anyone any advice as to how to freshen it up?
Yes, I have removed the bucket and contents

Id say spray a load of febreze inside, i have meguiars odour eliminator and that's pretty good.

You could try silica gel to remove any dampness in the car.
