got a question for the 95/96 sti 555 and RA guys....
noticed that my wagon sti had short shift and close ration box like my old 555 when i first got it but when you check it up on (which car is a wrx or sti) catherineandken.co.uk it doesnt add up. i know the site isnt definitive but what is it then?? the gearbox and engine code on the box and vin plate says same as 555 saloon car.....not the same as their website...any ideas ? heres the vin plate...
i may be missing something....any ideas ??
here is the website....

The 555 is basically a V2 STi in a different colour with a roof vent.
The 555 wagon did not have a roof vent.
They only made 100 555 wagons.

engine code is different (only slightly so dont know the difference)
quoted here...WRX STi Version 2 555
GC8C4ED
BKC
EJ20G DW5PE
275
Manual
TY752VB4AA
Special edition Our Car(the 555 car)
**this is from the catherineandken site...for the 555 sti special ed saloon car...like my last one...mine if ver 2 sti wagon , should have different engine code and gearbox/transmission code...and although engine code seems right for wagon sti ver 2...code should dw4ne at end and not dw5pe.... and gearbox shouldnt end 4AA either so why is that and what is the difference ????
