Not my words below, found this explaniation on the net
V-Car means the car has been an insurance write-off at some point during it's life.
This could through an accident, theft and recovery or flooding.
There are four categories.
Category A (Worst) : Example: a burned out shell, CANNOT be put back on the road.
Category B : Example: Very bad accident damage, car CANNOT be put back on the road but parts can be re-used.
Category C : Example : Severe accident damage, car CAN be out back on the road.
Category D : Example : Theft Recovery/Flooding/minor/moderate accident damage, car CAN be put back on the road.
Depending on what category the car is in the price is usually a third less than the book price for a striaght car.

Bit misleading that ad - they put ( all on one line between the commas ) 'on v car 1 year warranty' - makes it look as though the warranty is issued by a company called 'v car' rather than the truth.
Also doesnt say what Cat damage it is.
I'm sure they would say that its just an error in the ad, and they forgot to put the comma in, but for damaged cars its a lot more common, and honest, to put Cat C, Cat D or whatever.
Something like that in an advert would put me off dealing with the seller straight away as it makes you wonder what else they are hiding or have forgotten to mention.

IMO, it doesn't matter how good the repair is, if its had chassis damage, it'll never be right, especially if your wanting to tweak it to more power.
