Looks fine to me, but will wait to see how it drives.

I suspect blue will become a less popular colour for 08 scoobies; looks better in silver IMO.

They've made a right hash of the centre console, that hazard button in the middle of the dash is huge and makes it look cack.

Also the car just looks like every other hatchback out there. Subaru have sold their soul

@ push bottom. Looks like it has keyless entry, but an ignition key is still required for powering the start button? Can anyone confirm?

I think you'll find Piston heads are talking about the UK STi which is indeed 2.5 and not the 2.0 like the JDM version

A quick upshot of Differences between JDM & UK/EU (R/Hand drive) below

JDM 2.0ltr better engine, higher Rev's (cheaper Tax) UK 2.5ltr

JDM 13:1 quick Rack UK 15:1 Rack

JDM gets Equal lenth exhaust manifold UK Cast

JDM Bridgestone UK Dunlop

JDM Seats(cloth &Tricot) UK(leather alcantara)
Recardo's optional extras on both UK & JDM

JDM steer wheel audio controls optional UK Standard

USA gets folding mirrors everywhere else non-folding. USA, Japan and UK Heated mirrors is an optional extra

JDMs Headlamp washers and levellers are optional UK STD

There are two special Editions being shown at Toyko the Impreza "BEAMS" and Legacy Outback "Urban" These are IIRC for the JDM market though and only hav cosmetic modifications.

"BEAMS" is a popular japanese boutique/shop and has special colors and equipment selection and the Legacy Outback Urban selection special lightening red color and silver accessaries

All shall be revealled on Friday 26th Oct

Yep, correct I was going to follow up with a "But the UK will get...." but got sidetracked.

I seem to remember that the majority of the front end of the S-GT is the same as my Spec B Leggy anyway. Much of which is modded for the STi.

As always a mine of useful stuff.

After driving driving the WRX(S-GT) 17" x 50 series tyres, like driving a car with Crossplys on it. lovelly and smooth but tyre roll Unlike the MY07 and earlier STi's, I don't think many peeps will be happy with the STi's handling on Standard wheels, great for motorways

Those who try and buy the STi most will go for the 18" x 45 or 18" x 40

IMHO

Yeah will be the same Tax for 2.0 as 2.5

This car, The Sti model only is starting to slowly grow on me.

It looks very aggressive with it blistered arches etc.. it looks poised and ready to get into trouble. It looks fab in white

I even think it looks more aggrissive looking than the previous models, just needs the WRC rear wing and the mini vents and job done.

Its horrible and it looks nothing like a pedigree rally car, the new car will not look out of place in asda car parks and gentle runs out into the country with the kids.

I dont get why your car is £400 a year mate, thought if it was reg before March 26th 2006 it was the old tax system, your car is a MY05 if i'm right.

Or are they fleecing us again by saying first reg in UK????.

Car's imported or manufactured after 26th March 2006!!!!
