New STi looks pretty good.

i kind of like it now, looks like an updated version of the delta inegrale (ok that design was twenty years ago,but hey everything is retro these days!) i think subaru will be quite lucky on this one as most folk who would normally buy a wrx will now save a bit harder and cough up 5k more for the sti version. whether they sell any of the bog standard remains to be seen.

Minging! looks just like any other car, especially a Ford or Vauxhall.
Understand it has to be done to increase sales, but.... just... minging.

Chaps
Out here at the Rally in Japan we have a few of them on the rally team for use this weekend, prior to the official launch this coming Tuesday at Mount Fuji, which I am off to as well. Drove one of them last night and it felt very good - and these are cars which are still being run in. It's also the first time I have seen them in WR Blue, with the gold wheels. And these cars have the full spec Recaro's, which are lovely seats. Sound system is better than standard but as these are Japanese spec it may not make it overseas. Better quality speakers as well. Looks best from the side view as well - nicely pumped out arches look great. Sounds terrific - the quad pipes make a small difference but the VVC on both intake and exhaust ports adds a new dimension to the noise - very very good in fact. That may be enough for many people to buy.
All in all, a pretty impressive drive. Will take another one back tonight and see how that goes...

If they made it as a saloon I think it would of looked the nuts! Like the front, don't like the hatch, and still not sure about the side profile. Personally I think Mitsi have got it in the bag with the look of the new Evo X compared to the new Scoob.

New STi
Reminds me on the Delta Integrale I wanted but couldn't afford all those years ago.
May treat myself to one of these. Fast, discreet & reliable.
Only thing missing from announcement on Subaru UK is the price

Even with the opera singers it still looks piggin' ordinary. I hear its meant to handle better and be tuneable to high bhp but it looks so dull. Half Seat Leon and half Rover 25. The curvy front grill is so weedy looking and the back light clusters very cheap looking too.
