Im not 100% sure but looks like a V5 coupe. Probably a little out of your price range. I paid £5000 for my classic import,For £4500 you should be able to get a tidy import wrx or an early uk spec car in good condition

The top one is a Type R, you'll need a lot more money than £4-4.5k for one of them! The bottom one is a 4 door so thats obviously not a type R as they were only ever 2 doors, the bottom one could well be a type RA, not sure if you could get one of those on your budget as I've never really taken the time to see what the RA's are going for.

for £4000-4500 you should be able to get a very decent uk spec around 98-99my.
the later my98 and 99s had a different interior dash, updated from bumper (2 slats not three) and most importantly 4 pot brakes on the front.
i bought my my99 for £3900 last december but with 120k on the clock, with 50 on the second engine.
usually better going for a average-low miler if your looking at 10k plus miles a year. wouldnt say i regret buying a higher mileage car as the bodywork was in mint condition, but perishables and wear/tear kick in, unless your planning major mods. for instance, my gearbox (probably original) is on its way out, and i have a noisy tappet problem, which for the hassle will require a bottom end rebuild...

Hey thats my car in the first link
View my Scooby
It's a version 5, skirts are standard but with splashguards on them. Have removed them now anyay. I would consider letting it go but it would have to be considerably more than £5k.

Is the lip on the bumper an added extra or is it as-one? Looks like a P1 replica lip?? Might be a V6 bumper tho - can't tell from the side lol

If I was in a position where I wanted to sell it, I wouldn't let it go for less than £9k.
