Default Which classics are fitted with DCCD?

Hi,

As the title says, anyone have a list of which classics were fitted with DCCD/DCCD-A?

Only one's I know of are:

STi Type RA (not sure if all of the STi RA's had it?)
Type R

Any other's I have missed? I am assuming the Version 6 STi's don't come with DCCD?

Thanks in advance,

Fz

No classics had DCCD-A, that came in on the newage cars.

The ones that have DCCD are, all STi type Ra, all STi type R, and 22b.

IIRC, in japan it was an option (mostly on limited editions models) to have either ABS or DCCD, could have both on a classic , so not quite true. But all 22B's I have seen does have DCCD

Talking of ABS, I was under the impression that the Type R's didn't have ABS, but whilst looking at the fuses under the dash last night I noticed i had 2 fuses labled ABS, IIRC they were a 15 amp fuse and a 20 amp fuse, so I'm now assuming that my Type R has ABS? Is there anything else that can confirm this? (apart from the obvious one of slamming on the brakes!) oh, and if the above comment is correct of an option of either ABS or DCCD, mine has both if it has ABS then.....

Take a look in your engine bay fro the abs pump. Sited on mine just behind the drivers headlamp!

Ah, I see, cheers for that, I'll check that out. Will be a bit strange if I haven't got a pump but the fuses are in place!

Affraid I don't think you'll find you have ABS

In answer to the original question: WRX STI Type-RA saloons and WRX STI Type-R coupe models will have DCCD. Production Classics dont have DCCD-A and DCCD fitted was not compatible with the ABS system in use.
