Default How close to a subaru parts department are you?

I need a favour.............

Basically I am nowhere near a subaru parts department and to drive to one does not warrant the cost of the part (not without my scooby anyway) . I only need a 80p O-Ring for my power steering reservoir. I was hopeing someone on here who lives very close to or drives past one every day could do a fellow scoobynetter a big big favour and buy the part and send it to me (obviously I would pay all costs).

I have tried getting the parts department to send me one but they said they dont offer that service (like putting it in an envelope along with the rest of their daily post is a massive task!!!!). I have also tried the closest match O-Ring I could find and it failed.

Anyone out there feel like doing a good deed?

I am no longer close to one due to moving jobs but I am pretty sure Lee at R N Golden would send you one, he is always happy to help me.

Worth a phone call at least...

Yup. Had many dealings with Lee and he is a genuinely decent bloke. Mention Dan above and Maz (me), I'm sure he'll sort you out. If not let me know and I'll pop down and pick one up and post it on to you.

not my favorite topic at the moment

having searched online for someone that could mail me OM accessories for my MY01 wagon i decided to dive in and try one that had a great website etc

so having explained that i wanted window side visors and a replacement retractable luggage cover for the boot... paid an up front deposit which turned out to be the full amount... work that out...

only to find 3 weeks on that they cant tell me when i'll get the sidevisors and they didnt order the luggage cover.... not to mention that they dont bother calling you back either!!!

if anyone can recommend somewhere were i can buy OM accessories i'd certainly appreciate it as theres a couple more bits that i want to get...

regards
bob

My nearest dealer is good - thumbs up for Webbers in Basingstoke. Always happy to put parts in the post for me - only ever used them for oil filters though.
