Oil....
Could someone tell me what oil is best for MY07 STi??
Also in general how often does it need to be topped up?
I am sure this has been done to death but without a search facility its impossible to find anything.
Thanks in advance

Agreed.
Shouldn't need topping up, though. Mine never has, but do check it regularly as I was once told that most problems with Scooby engines are due to low oil.

Cheers lads!
Yeah just wanted to get some in stock just in case as I too have heard about issues with low oil, same with my previous motor (Civic Type R) bad things can happen when getting on the low side.
Thanks again

Shouldn't be as bad as your CTR, as these are well known to use oil. The section in the handbook about topping up was pointed out to new owners by the dealers during the handover.
I heard that people with Euro imports weren't being told and running the engines dry within 6 months or so (or that may have been a scare story to think that they should go to a UK dealer?)

Recently had MY06 STi oil changed using Motul 300V Chrono 10W40, running really nice.

Funny that, just checked my oil about 10 mins ago. It hasn't lost a drop by the look of things. Oil would have been changed (I think) in March during first service. My car is an 06 STI.
