It's probably because they wanted to get rid of the 2.0l PPP as the hawkeye was the new model so hence they discounted the price. Next will be the hawkeye when the MY08 has been on the market for about a year, so a little while to wait yet.

scoobynet is just another internet forum, a good one mind. SIDC is a car club, and as such does alot more for it's members and businesses in the subaru community. Hence that's probably why SIDC can get discounts on pppacks.

So your membership fees just mean you're part of the online forum community, not a car club like SIDC.

All you need with your current mods is a cat pipe, fuel pump and a remap. Even with the most expensive mappers you are only talking £750.

I want PPP too for my MY07, before anyone says anything as Mike Wood of prodrive has said on many occasions its well within safe limits of the engine and I want my warranty intact

Also, go and drive one with ppp, if you haven't already. I was considering it and whilst you can feel a difference, particularly 3000 to 5000 revs, for me there wasnt the massive difference that I thought there would be (not £1700 worth anyway). I know ppp made a huge difference to the 2.0, but I am not convinced about the 2.5 as it is pretty torque anyway. Admittedly I have changed my resonated section and back box and also the panel filter, but as far as I know these items dont make alot of difference to BHP.

Not trying to be contraversial (sp?), just giving my opinion on driving them both back to back.

I will now be heading to powerstation with mine.

That said, you do have a warranty advantage with ppp.
