I don`t want to be a party pooper for someone doing something for such a great cause but isn`t that illegal ?

My mate got done by a traffic copper for test driving a car from a dealers that had some similar writing on the front top right of the window screen which was far smaller than the writing below, the copper said that you have to have a certain amount of vision in the front and rear screens and writing on a window is a distraction to your driving if its in your line of sight.

The one below blocks your vision quite a lot as to what is happening in your rear and it would be distracting as its certainly in your line of sight.
