I don't have a missus

I have to dent it, leave tissues in the door pockets, run it on empty and forget to switch the fog lights off myself

Wife doesn't drive PTMW! if I can at all arrange/machinate it Do serapticiously check it if she does...

I bought her a Mini so that she didn't need to

Worked out that she's done less miles driving than I have done in track miles

I Bl00dy hate it when Mr T-S takes out my scoob. Have to go over it with a fine tooth comb, checking for any door dings, scratched alloys etc.

How tiresome

All I am saying is women are far FAR the better driver; we get cheaper insurance because we are,
But having said that if I was true full I think both sexes have their faults and good points.
So guys stop pulling us women down as you all know there’s a lot of women and boys in here with Scooby’s.

Thumbs down

My wife once went shopping in my works car.It was a 306 dts and when she came home we unloaded the car.No more to be said !!!! The next day i opened the car door and saw the biggest dent in the wheel arch you have ever seen,it looked like a JCB had reversed into it!So i asked the question whats happened? And the look on her face was a picture,She said it wasnt me. Now every time she goes out in the scooby she has to park in the disabled or mother and baby spaces!! But we do have a baby now !!!!!!

Not wanting to be controversial but a few things come to mind

1. Take a woman out of her natural habitat and you get problems, letting her near a scooby ? Suicide ! You're better off keeping them close to white goods - men can never figure out how to programme a washing machine.

2. Men have to pay more insurance for 2 reasons, women and all these "where's theres blame there's a claim" companies making money out of accidents that happened 25 years ago.

Er - Is this call pushing one's luck ?

My missus? She is insured and is so scared of the thing I think she may have used the turbo once

Now my mother on the other hand (dare I admit she access to the STi??), every time she pulls out in it, I start to sweat instantaneously

Now the 18"s are on there, I think her days charging around Waitrose are up!!

Hmm an interesting topic (well after it got cornered). When doing online insurance quotes recently I have often amended a quote to see whether its financially viable to have a sex change op - and lo and behold it isnt. Most sites like Tesco and Elephant offered me about £5 off for changing to a mrs instead of a mr.

As for the age old argument of whose a better driver. Id say that women are safer drivers as the majority drive at slower speeds - blokes drive faster but that doesnt necessarily make them a worse driver - just less likely to react in time to miss a car pulling out in front etc. Also I bet the average mileage for a women is a damn sight lower than for a male - my mum and dad both drive and both have cars yet on any family trip with one car my dad does all the driving - that must have a big bearing on number of claims etc.

How many top rally, f1, nascar etc drivers are male? How many cabbies, lorry drivers are male compared to female - I think we know the answer to this and it goes a long way to explain why the average male pays more insurance than the average female.

My missus has my UK300 today and I have had to bring the agricultural vehicle into work, however the good news is she picks her RB5 up on Saturday so we'll be a 2 Scoob family too..

She also knows how to drive (fast) so I'm not bothered in the slightest!

Just to add my 2p worth,
I've had an Evo6 for just over a year and my better half drives it every other week. The only time it's been dented was when she spun it on a dry corner going way to fast (even for an Evo) and caused £2k worth of suspension damage. This, to me, suggests one of two possibilities:
1. She is female and can't drive or more likely:

2. She has bigger ***** than me for attempting to corner that fast that the car actually lost grip...

I never check the car over after she's been driving it but she checks it over after I've finished with it

One of the reasons women get cheaper insurance is they make less - or less expensive - claims. When a woman has an acciden it is usually a low speed small prang. When a bloke has an accident, he doesn't muck about and smashes the car to pieces. I'd much rather my misses had a dink in a car park than rolled the car 25 times...
