280 easily, maybe stretch to 320 (my best tank in an old Forester) to the lught (2g left).

For best Mway FE I blank the hose from BCS to intake so max boost is wastegate boost, no control, and up the tyre pressure to the higher setting in the manual, 29.76mpg average on my 1000mile round trip to Paris, 80-85 in the UK, 85-90 in France.

I had a 2003 wrx and could squeeze 280miles on a nice steady motorway run at around 80-85 with limited traffic.

Did this a few times on my trips back home to Wales.

Spookily, my '07 STi returns better fuel economy though..!!

My 02 WRX is standard apart from a centre section back exhaust and I run V-Power, wouldn't say it's very economical on boost but stay off boost and it's fine - you'll forget the £'s when your driving one anyway

I have a 2002WRX and have never achieved 300/tank. Even when running in (twice) or doing long distances I think 250 is quite an achievement.

My standard 01 WRX gets 280-300 no problem on a long run.

not flying, get 300 then a orange light that on my regular Essex- Wales run, M25 to M4 all the way, being gentle ( not above 90 ish ) always on V power, it uses more fuel on Tesco 99 ron ( this has been done about 14 times this trip )
