ok i'll post it here too...
The normal 2L sports are 115-121bhp, if its the one im thinking of, it has 125bhp, turbo seats,17"wheels & most of all a STI wing
- nice
seen one in Essex it looks sweet - thats why i want a STI wing for mine

You dont mean the Sport Special then...
"Subaru's Striking Sport Special is not to be missed!
Subaru's new Impreza Sport Special is not to be missed - it's available in any colour the customer wants as long as it is either Black Mica or Cashmere Yellow.
Meanwhile, the Sport's Special's interior features high-backed Turbo front seats with bright yellow accent panels front and rear.
And if Subaru's success with various Impreza Turbo special editions is anything to go by, this lower priced and more insurance - friendly model should become a collectors item.
Based on the Impreza 2.0 litre Sport AWD saloon. the Sport Special, also benefits from air-conditioning, high rise Turbo rear spoiler, leather covered Momo steering wheel and white-backed instruments.
The Impreza enjoys the active safety benefit of all-wheel drive plus a charismatic 125 PS 2.0 litre boxer engine, anti lock brakes, driver and passenger air bags, four electric windows, alloy wheels with 195/6- tyres. large front fog lamps and an AB1-approved immobiliser.
On-the-road price for the Sport Special is only £1000 more than the regular Sport saloon at £16,500 and production is strictly limited to 200 in each of the two colours."

But this car came out in 2000. I cannot see that you would be able to get one for 6000 quid. Is it perhaps a Jap import with a name like that? I have followed the models closely in the UK and cant say I have heard of a Super Sport. The only model that would come close is a Sport Special.

IIRC Sports upto '98 had the 115bhp 2.0L engine from the Legacy. After '98 they got the improved 125bhp 2.0L engine from the recently introduced Forester.
