p0301 and p0303 ....anything to worry?

Default p0301 and p0303 ....anything to worry?

help,
yesterday i put my foot down to join back on the motorway after a fill up (my
ususal vpower). 1st,2nd,3rd then engine light came just after a green light showed on my knocklink. When i got home and plugged in cel reader and found, p0301 and p0303 (1 and 3 cylinder misfired detected)
Not happed for over a yr, any thing i need to worry? the car seems normal.

Could be all manner of things causing it, Coil packs, leads, spark plugs, google is your friend

If the light has reset don't worry about it. Could be a reaction to the fuel you've just filled up with.
If it comes back drop me a PM with your email and i'll send you the pages for troubleshooting the fault.

Bugeyes are noted for this..... misfire on one of the cylinders.

Well documented, try doing a search for Neutral Position Switch

The Bugeye tends to be a random CEL generator as ninnybobs mentioned ...LOL

Neutral position switch usual culprit but mine does it every few months and I ignore it

I had a camshaft postion sensor failure that cause a few misfire codes, once it was replaced it was fine.
