Yeah, No worries I brought some oil remover / drive way cleaner from a diy center and it fetched it off with the the jet wash no problem, Can't remember what it was called but i'm sure any diy store will sell it, just go in and ask.

Change the offending blocks I reckon, only sure fire way to get rid properly
I did hear somewhere that you can use petrol but not sure about that one
Some sand on top may pull some of it out to
Good luck.

Neat waahing up liquid and a spot of water, stiff bursh and scrub, keep doing this for five minutes then throughly rinse with water.
Won't always get it all out, but any residual will wear off in 3-4 months anyway.
I'd worry more about the moss and weeds growing inbetween the cracks

best remedy i found was brake/carb cleaner
give the offending area a good spray, mop up with cloth, spray for a second time then mop and finally rinse with hose or pressure washer (pressure washer is best)
Ta da ! good as new

Screwfix sell a good product.
I used it to clean a huge patch off our block drive when we moved into our new house.
The patch had probably been there for months but came off no probs.
