That would have been me, tell her not to be too harsh I have never seen the car before!!!
I will look out for it next time....and bear in mind my eyes are still shut and I would have been peering through a gap about 6 inches by 2 in the windscreen!! (joke before any one complains)

Don't know where you lot are from but assume it's the South of France - If you want low temps on your guages come to Banchory (or better still head for Braemar - haven't been up this year but got -18 on a Vectra (I was young and foolish) about 3 years ago !!!

Positively tropical +5 with us this morning, but had -12 on New years morning. Neighbour decided to demonstrate the speed water freezes to his kids and go his tongue stuck to the roof of the car. Had to rescue him by pouring luke warm water over his head until he unstuck

I was wondering on this very board about 6 weeks ago if the temp showed less than 0, as it only ever got that far. Until this week. Had -4 whilst stuck on the M1 for 4 hours on New Years day. Eventually had to drive South down the Northbound carriageway (eerie that) and get off at the on slip for the M6.
We then got diverted round the M69 and rejoined M1. I understand a bloke was arrested and questioned in connection with several driving offences before being bailed. Fourteen vehicles involved one poor bugger dead and 7 injured, 5 seriously. M1 North shut until midnight from 17:00.
Anyone seen an update of what this was all about?

Oh and Fast Bloke, if your neighbour was on fire, what would you do to him?
Did his kids make notes by the way, or did they just wet themselves and get icy britches?
