Unhappy Windscreen Replacement on A MY98 Turbo!!!!!!!

Some dick in a BMW today managed to kick up a nice stone onto my windscreen cracking it nicely, So today I ordered a new one to be fitted anything special I should look out for/ it is being fitted Monday by Autoglass.

check that nothing is broke around windscreen clips etc when thay fit your screen thay will prob broke some of your mould clips and say that thay were allready broke it happened to me dont sign form untill you inspect and read there coments on fitting

Theres a post further down refering to the RAC and windscreen fitting, i hope you have more luck with autoglass, i would hang about and watch, point any broken clips out etc

AutoGlass did my Calibra windscreen ..... it never bonded and flooded the car with rainwater.

I watched them and they said it wouldn't bond - I got that in writing, so, when I claimed they paid up

Ask them to fit a Subaru OE part, Colin. Also, make sure that the are careful when they remove the old screen and do not damage or scratch the paintwork surrounding or it will rust like a b1tch

Agree with making sure the paint isn't scratched, my rear screen had been changed before I bought the car, Clearly they nicked the paint as i've now go rust bubbles on the roof near the edge.
