Thinking of buying 5dr Turbo 1999.......

I have a 5 door, and I find it incredibly flexible. As I have 3 kids, I wouldn't be able to own a scooby otherwise, so I certainly have no complaints whatsoever.

Excellent practical car. I would also say watch out for clutches as I have had 4 replaced under warranty due to clutch judder. Also the 98/99 models are more prone to piston slap. So make sure its got warranty left or has already been sorted.

Got a MY99 Turbo Wagon - nothing specific to the Wagon to look out for. I'm on my second warranty clutch at 28k miles, and this one has started to judder occasionally so I might get it replaced before the warranty expires.
Likely to have been treated better than the saloon, since they're owned by professional types More crisps and chocolate ground into the back seat though
Oh, and mine's got air-con - haven't tried one without it, but it's invaluable in the summer, so get it if you can.
