Default Ninja exhaust system owners, help needed

Did you get a gasket with it to go between the downpipe and center section? I didnt, and its blowing a little and doing my nut in. My mate has got the same sytem and he has a small doughnut shaped gasket/spacer (not the usual flat gasket) on his?

The Ninja dp or center sections dont come with the 'O ring' AKA 'olive gasket'. You should be able to use your original one that was on your downpipe.

Ok thanks for that mate.

All I gotta do now is find the original O ring.....I dont recall seeing it when we removed the original exhaust, I'll ask the lad who helped me, think he was working on that part whilst I was removing backbox.

If anyone knows anywhere I can order one online that would be great

You can buy them for about £1.50. I needed one for mine and got one from a local exhaust place. If you struggle let me know what size it is and i will mail you one.

Andy.

Thanks andy, problem is without having one I dont know the size.

Does anyone know the size of the standard O ring? If not I guess I will have to take the exhaust to bits again (and remove about 3 ton of exhaust gum) and measure the internal diamater?

My mate swears he didnt see an o ring when he took the old one off. Im goin to have a drive thru to work after tea and have a hunt around the garage.....its gotta be there somewhere
