'00 Turbo top speed?
Just interested to know what you all reckon the top speed of my 2000 turbo would be. Out on a track I took it to 145mph the other day and to be honest bottled out after that as the back windows felt like they were going to explode!
It's had a few mods, details in view my scooby. Thing is I know its got more to give but im unsure I want to push it any further in fear of something going bang!

I think you'll find the UK cars aren't limited artificially. The JDM ones have a 112mph (=180 km/h) limiter, which normally gets reset to 180mph when the car is converted to read in mph for SVA.
IIRC the UK turbo has a quoted top speed of 150 mph in standard form.

Supposedly with the right mods and a long enough length of track you could get it to red line in top gear. Don't know what that would equate to in mph but I'm sure someone who knows the gear ratios could work it out

The above quotes for top speed of uk impreza turbo ( classic) are incorrect.
The official speeds are 144mph for the saloon and 142 for the wagon. These are official quotes and not taken from an incorrect speedo reading. Ive had an indicated 147mph in mine (uk98) which was probably around a true 140mph. It still had a little to give so would have been near as dammit to 144mph though speedo would be showing 150+mph.
