Sti badges, or not??

Sti badges, or not??
I have spent lot of time and money on moding the WRX and now looks very much like an Sti Impreza. Iv sorted the handling so it goes around corners like an Sti, it has the correct spoilers, will next week have a full Brembo conversion so will stop like an Sti, and will soon be mapped to close to 300hp so goes like an Sti.
In not one for creating replicas but the sides are missing something and i like the look of the badge details. I know the mods dont make it an Sti modified car but i cant think of anything else.
Are there alternatives that are simular to the Sti decals??

WRX ?
Afterall that's what it is. Plastering STI stickers all over it will make selling a problem IMO. Insurance would be a problem too. Yeah, It's a WRX but I advertise it to thiefs as a better more nickable car.

I've just checked yours out and it looks pretty smart as it is, very similar cosmetic mods to me, all you need now are rear tints, clear front indicator bulbs and a 3/4 size front plate.
Dont worry about any more stickers. leave it as it is.

i got sti stickers on the side of my car (came with the rally graphics) dont really think about it to be honest. (black on silver)
i do however have the black "i" badge up front
i also have STI fog light covers, which were on the car (pink graphics)
i guess there are some sti bits which go on scoobies. same as putting RS stuff on fords years ago.
each to their own.

Stick with WRX - great brand anyway - you'll just get the p*ss ripped out of you if you go with STi badging. I agree - that's not fair, no doubt your car is as good if not better than some STi's - but others will rightly claim it's still NOT a true STi though.

Do whatever you want mate, it's your car after all...
Mine is an STI but I removed the badging that the previous owner added... moral is we all like different things on our cars and if you want to replicate the STI then go for it. I personally wouldn't put any badges on at all... keep em guessing.

Yup Evil - cool car, leave as is !
My WRX is on 300bhp+ and only has a tiny "Ecutek" sticker on the boot to distinguish it.

I dont think i will do anything to it. I know where people are coming from, as already said, im not trying to copy an Sti, just make the car something better. The Sti badging was all i could think of. Maybe i will debadge it, it would keep people guessing.
As for the person who asked why i didnt buy an Sti in the first place, some reason everyone buys a WRX..........Budget. I could have saved up for one but figured i would have more fun making the car my own and saving some money.
Once again, thanks for the comments!
