Been paying £1.069 up here in Aberdeenshire for a long time, that's for BP ultimate, I think the Vpower is about the same. Seems like a rip off when you think the raw material comes from just off our coast line
Still, would not have bought the scooby if fuel was a worry but I hear you all the same. Car only does 20 mpg but then it could be worse it might only do 18 mpg

I pay 85p ltr. Live in NI near the border so go to Southern Ireland for my fuel. It's normal unleaded which is not a problem on euro spec Subarus's. Had mine over two years it's decatted with a panel filter and has not missed a beat.
And yes I do drive it properly

Had nothing but Shell in mine since new...until yesterday...had a voucher for Tesco - 5p a litre off - rude not to try it - worked out at 94.9p/litre. Will see if perf/mpg is any diff over next week.
PS. V-power is 1.01 at my local.

I normally fill the Octy with Tesco 99 RON @ 99.9/litre. Had to put BP Ultimate in on Sunday = 104.9/litre
And that was in Dalgety Bay - by no means the back of beyond. Two miles up the road was a Shell station with V-Power @ 102.9/litre

Looks like im moving to Dorset! Ill check out that petrol prices thing too Andy.
Really uncertain about putting less that V-power in the car,and after the last tesco problem with the normal petrol I dont like the idea of their 99 either..

The thing was with the Tesco petrol thing it was a contaminant which could happen to anyone but i do believe the Super unleaded (97 and 99) were unaffected as i was using during the 'crisis'.
I don't touch BP ultimate with a barge pole my car just doesn't like it (93wrx)
