Just for a change ....

Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda are cutting tuppence off unleaded petrol and diesel. A litre of unleaded will cost just under 80 pence, and diesel just under 84 pence.

No mention of SUL though .....

Call me cynical but they will probably slap it straight on to a loaf of bread or other such comodity.

Boost,

Yes, that's possible .... but do you get through more petrol or more bread ?

I don't know ... you pass on good news and there's always someone who wants to look at the bad side.

My local Safeway is knocking 10p off a litre if you spend £40+ on shopping or something.

Is this a record? Do I win?

To the tune of 'Their story'

....And so it came to pass, that another thread went on its way to the muppet forum. Where Dave T.S and his fellow conspirators, Mr Cookie et al, thoroughly mauled it.

Thank you,

P.

And just for a moment I thought I might actually keep a topic in the serious area for where it was intended ... should have known it'd get hijacked

Floyd ... where have you been m8??? Have you never shopped in Safeway before ??? they've been doing the 10p a litre malarkey (spellchecker will have fun with that ) if you spent £40 for quite a while now never mind ... go and have a lie down

Thumbs up

Back to the topic........

Sainsburys at Heyford Hill, Oxford sell Super unleaded for about 86p a litre. Just discovered it after the re-furbished the entire site.
