another tyre thread...
had a bit of bad luck today (not like me to have bad luck with the car is it )
anyways, got like a slit in the back nearside tyre on the tyrewall. egged out a little, and have no idea how its happened. so i need to replace all four tyres, in a rush. i lost 23 psi in less than a day, and you can hear is going down by putting your ear to it.
so im looking for tyres to fit tomorrow. too late for most on next day delivery, so it looks like il have to pay over the odds from a trye place. cant afford it, but im not gonna risk a blowout.
thinking of going for toyo t1s to replace the t1r's on there currently. this is gonna cost around £350 inc fitting and balancing, so cant really afford anything more high end.
any other suggestions, as it seems a lot condering i can get 4 toyo t1s of ebay for £240. im in a rut, as i need the car tonight, and have had to try patch up this slit as best i can. risky i know, but i have no other alternative, and no part worn tyres in the same size were available.

its too late now anyway. ive managed to borrow the 350 for the tyres and theyre getting ordered asap. its just a case of me being bloody unlucky.
not too worry, hopefully the t1-s tyres will last a long time, as my driving style isnt to hard.
richtoy are mega busy at the mo too, had to wait nearly two weeks to get booked in on monday for a geometry set up.

Are Richtoy setting your car to standard settings?
They did mine and I had to give them the settings I wanted.
Got them to put on 1.5 neg front camber,Rear is non adjustable unless you get cam bolts, and 2mm toe in all round. I'm getting some bolts and then setting the rear to 1.5 neg as well.
