Would theses wheels fit my JDM STI 2001????
Item Specifics - Auto Parts: Rims
Type: Aluminum Bolt Diameter: 100
Rim Width: 7J Manufacturer: Inovit
Diameter: 17 inches Rim Structure: One Piece
Offset: 45 Manufacturer Part Number: Tarmac Gunmetal
Number of Bolts: 5 Condition: New
I dont want to change the tyres as they are quite new Bridgestone Potenza's. Size 225/45/17.
Would i get a 225 tyre on a 7J rim and will an offset of 45 clear my brembos??
Cheers
Jamie

1)OFFSET = ET, ET has little or NO baring to wether a Wheel will miss or catch front Brembo brakes
The design of the wheel "spokes" to the wheel rim gives the clearence to miss the calliper's,

1)Jamie OFFSET or ET etc, has nothing to do with missing Brembos
It how the "leg to the rim" are contructed they may not miss the calliper's, eg, certain style XXX if was ET 35 hits calliper an ET48 in the same model may still not miss
ET difference on makesm the wheel either get nearer the wheel arch or the other way closer to the strut.
2)IIRC 225 tyre you need 18" X 7.5"- 8" *" is better
3) IIRC 205 is about max for a 7"

Hope this makes more sense
1)OFFSET = ET, ET has little or NO baring to wether a Wheel will miss or catch front Brembo brakes
The design of the wheel "spokes" to the wheel rim gives the clearence to miss the calliper's,
2) lessen the ET and the wheel will get closer to the wheel arch and further away from the Strut the higher the ET it will be Vice Versa .
3) 225 tyre you need 7.5"- 8" J rim
4) 205 tyre is about max for a 7"J rim
IIRC
